Famous Kid Introduction
At the young age of 16, I enjoyed listening to different hip-hop artists that inspired my love for creating my own music, praying that one day I would create my own image. Gaining my name, "Famous Kid," I learned how to freestyle from my surroundings and inspirations through family, friends, and music.
In 1999, we set on a different road and started creating mix tapes. Not too long after that, opportunities rose even higher when I was discovered by Penguin Magic where I was an assistant for an escape artist, as well as a performer. Things were going great until 2004 hit. I was faced with a relational storm that nearly wrecked me and the stress rose. Thanks to the support of others, they inspired me to push the music and that was when Windy City was born.
Things took time, but 2013 rolled around and I was finally free from the past. Being inspired by retro games, classic 80's movies, and arcade games it inspired me to do the Retro Album, an album that brought back old school video games, music, good times and beyond with a hip hop twist.
I've come a long way since. We've been steadily growing, working with other businesses, traveling, dj-ing for different events, creating more music, clothing line, and feeling inspired to share our gaming experiences and more.
The Movement is Set...
I always had a vision to go beyond the music, so I wanted to get my feet wet by creating my own music videos, websites, producing, and beyond. With the help from those who have supported me through it all, I was able to do just that. My motto has always been to "pickup the sticks." With the collaboration of my love for video gaming and music, came Video Game Intertainment. So walk with me, get to know us by visiting our channel, listen to our tracks, and see our vision! You will see how fun we are!

Introduction

I showed interest in singing and performing since late elementary. This turned into a love all the way up to high school when I joined Honors Choir. During the summer of my upcoming senior year, I was also involved in Arts Alive at Scranton University, PA. It was awesome to not only be part of the expressive arts with mixed media and such, but experience choir in a whole new light where creativity, individuality, and inner expression out shined academics. I continued on with Arts Save, which was an extension of Arts Alive. I am sure both programs cost a pretty penny for my mom, but I am still thankful to this day that she introduced me to a new world of diversity considering I came from a small town that lacked diversity.
As far as the lyrics that I write, a lot came from personal experiences. I always enjoyed writing poetry throughout middle school and high school, but I never thought hip-hop and rapping would ever come into play until 2013. I remember Famous Kid telling me to rap a couple lines he had written. He put on a beat and that was it! I was a big fan of Notorious B.I.G., so Famous Kid introduced me to other hip-hop artists that still have my head going. I wasn't anywhere near the levels I am at today, but with time, experience, and patience, I have have seen the craft grow more in me (And still growing!). It took time and hours of late night coaching from Famous Kid, but I couldn't of asked for a better mentor and inspiration.
Before Video Game Intertainment came into play, I remember Famous showing me some of his tracks that he started out with going back to Windy City, including some of his freestyles. I loved what I heard- it was different. I had to ask him, "What are you going to do with it?" He paused for a minute, and said, "I just was people to hear it." Once that was settled, we needed a home for it. Now, the site didn't happen over night, but once we launched it in 2014, the stage was set. It was a small one, but our music and love for video games now had a home.
Famous not only introduced me to writing and creating sounds, but I played video games I never thought I would play. Video games that completely changed my life. Video Game Intertainment has grown into an empire that we never thought possible and being a co-creator, as well as an artist, of something so moving has been nothing short of a blessing!
