The game places you in "Skate City," an open-world skate park where virtually every surface is skateable. 
 
Goal: You must perform stunts to earn points and cash to buy tickets for competitive events.
Competitions: There are four main events you must master: Downhill, Slalom, Jump, and Ramp (half-pipe).
Progression: Winning medals in these events earns you "scratch" (cash) to upgrade your gear, including boards, helmets, pads, and shoes, which improves your stats and skating ability.
The Campaign: The game consists of four difficulty classes (Class 1 to Class 4). To finish the campaign, you must survive 16 total mini-games across these classes
