The device works, comes on and the controls works fine 
you might need to charge it 
and I'm not sure if the charger works or not, it is your risk 
 
My honest truth 
the build quality does not seem great 
upon taking it out the box it seems like it's loose inside (I shaked the device quite a few times and it still works wow). 
the screen is ok, not that bright and I did not see a brightness control
As far as the sound it sounds good to me 
 
I really did not dig too much into it, I just opened the box and turned it on 
the menu looks super simple to use 
 
Overall I think if you just want a handheld that is low on cost or you want to tinker with a super cheap device this will have you covered. If you are picky about handhelds this is not for you
 
I tried to cover as much as I can on this device
