Was a great asset for podcasting but upgraded and time to pass it along 
it's mounted on the base using regular screws (don't have the original) 
It always works best when talking close up never really messed with settings 
just the button on back I believe to do surround recording but I just kept it regular 
I think it does have a app to do more but I never looked into that 
overall I just kept it basic
